Introduction

Welcome to the GovernIA documentation.

GovernIA is built around a simple flow:

  1. Create a mission (scope, objectives, target organization)
  2. Launch an audit (select a questionnaire template, assign auditors)
  3. Collect answers (evidence-driven)
  4. Generate results (scores, pillars, recommendations)
  5. Track remediation (actions, progress, closure evidence)
  6. Publish a report (client-ready)

Key concepts

  • Tenant: an organization space (company / client). All data is isolated by tenant.
  • Audit family: the audit domain (IA / REG / TECH). Families have their own pillars and templates.
  • Template: a questionnaire blueprint that can be reused across missions.
  • Mission: an engagement (audit context + deliverables) where audits are executed.
  • Remediation action: a tracked improvement item with owner, status, progress, and evidence.
